Fruit flesh is semi-hard or hard; red; watery, good-tasting and flavoured. Its stone is quite small and attached to the fruit flesh. It should be taken into consideration in planning that it is very early-yielding. It ripens 18-20 days after Burlat.

Regina

It is a variety improved in Germany with pyramid-shaped and strong-growing trees. It is highly productive and becoming common in production rapidly. Its fruit is very good-sized, round, long-stalked and blackish red. Fruit flesh is red, watery, hard and light textured;and the fruit is highly tempting. It is harvested in late June and early July. Its pollinators are Lambert, Starks Gold, Summit, Attika and Sam varieties. It ripens 18-20 days after Bing variety.

It is a variety rehabilitated in Canada with strong and erect trees, therefore suitable for high density plantation. It blossoms early. Fruit is good-sized; fruit rind is shiny purple and red. Fruit flesh is in light red colour; watery and sweet. It is highly resistant to cracking; has very good fruit set; and is a very goodpollinator for a number of varieties, especially 0900 Ziraat. Being self-compatible; Bing and Lmbert varieties may be recommended as a pollinator for this variety. Harvest time is 10-12 days after Bing variety.

Kordia

It is a cherry of Czech Republic origin. It is known as Attika in the USA. It is bigger and harder than Bing which is the most important exported cherry of the USA. Its trees are erect and semi-broad. They grow strong when young and become rounder as they age. It may be a pollinator for Regina, Karina or 0900 Ziraat due to its late blossoming. Fruit is good-sized and heart shaped. Fruit flesh is very hard textured; crimson and pink striped. It is harvested 4-5 days after 0900 Ziraat. Its rind is crimson.
