It has New Zealand origin. Its trees grow strong and have an easy-to-manage tree structure. When dwarf trees are used, its strong growth can be controlled. It has continuous and high crop productivity. Thinning is required for ideal fruit quality. Fruit flesh is yellowish, watery, hard, sweet and flavoured. Fruit has red top colour on yellow background. Harvest time is late August and early September. It is self-compatible and a good pollinator. Other varieties that it is adaptable to are Fuji, Golden Delicious, Starking Delicious, Granny Smith, Breaburn and Jersey Mac.Plant spacing should be 7x7m if grafted on seedling; 1x3m or 1x3.5m if grafted on M9; and 2.5x4m if grafted on MM106 or M7. Harvest time delays causes cracks in stalk hole.
